LifeLock offers a form of insurance in which they Guarantee that your identity will not be stolen-- in fact, they're so sure that it won't be stolen while you use their services that if it is, LifeLock will pay you up to $1 million for damages stemming from the security breach. LifeLock says they will “make sure that you get every dollar back, lost wages, costs, actual losses, every dollar up to $1,000,000. Period.”

CEO Todd Davis says that the $1 million LifeLock promotion covers more than just monetary damages. He says that it covers any problem arising from Identity Theft that costs you money, including attorney fees or other costs. However, he says that no one has ever had to take advantage of the $1 Million Guarantee because LifeLock has completely stopped any cases of Identity Theft before they've occurred.
